CYBER CAPABILITY

Micah

Cybersecurity Professional & Founder, Aegis North | Cyber Capability

Before joining Cybersilience, I was transitioning careers after working across compliance, banking and financial services, healthcare, and public service. I had already completed several cybersecurity and GRC courses, but they had not given me the practical direction I was looking for. That experience, along with the cost, made me hesitant to sign up for another program.

What stood out about the GRC Launchpad was how closely the program reflected the GRC work I had been researching. The live use-case discussions with cohort members and lead trainers were particularly valuable, and the final coursework was detailed, practical, and relevant to real GRC activities.

The program helped me solidify my decision to pursue cybersecurity with a focus on GRC and contributed to my transition into the field. Today, I am also the founder of Aegis North, a managed cybersecurity services company focused on supporting small and medium-sized businesses.

CYBER CAPABILITY

Donaldson

Internal Auditor & Compliance Specialist | Cyber Capability

My background is in internal audit, accounting and compliance, so risk management and controls were already familiar territory. What became clearer through the program was how directly that experience could connect with cybersecurity GRC.

The turning point for me was the session on Understanding GRC. It helped me see how my existing work in governance, risk management, compliance and internal audit could translate into cybersecurity, rather than feeling like I was starting over in an entirely new field.

The program also strengthened my understanding of IT auditing in practical ways. One example that stayed with me was the discussion and demonstration of access control testing. I have since applied that knowledge in my work as an internal auditor, which made the learning immediately relevant and useful.

CYBER CAPABILITY

Oyin

Project Manager & Cybersecurity Career Transitioner | Cyber Capability

Coming from a non-technical project management background, I initially questioned whether cybersecurity was a field I could successfully transition into. I was also concerned about how I would position my experience and speak confidently about cybersecurity opportunities.

The modules on policy development and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 helped things come together for me. I began to see how GRC connects business, risk, compliance and cybersecurity, and how the work supports a broader purpose of helping organizations protect their systems, information and people.

I can now point to practical knowledge and skills in areas such as risk assessments, risk management, asset identification, policy development, SOC 2 and cybersecurity frameworks. More importantly, I understand how my project management experience can transfer into GRC and where I can add value as I continue building my cybersecurity career.

AI READINESS

Dr. Evelyn Vance

Director of Governance & Clinical Compliance | AI Readiness

As a healthcare organization adopting intelligent clinical documentation and operational analytics, our leadership needed clear governance frameworks that balanced innovation with patient data privacy.

Cybersilience delivered practical AI readiness workshops and acceptable-use policies for our department heads. They moved beyond high-level theory to concrete prompt security, risk classification, and vendor assessment workflows.

Their governance guidance gave our executive committee the confidence to safely implement AI-driven capabilities while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

AI READINESS

Marcus Sterling

VP of Technology Risk & Workforce Capability | AI Readiness

Our cross-functional teams were eager to experiment with generative AI tools, but we lacked structured guidelines for prompt protection, data classification, and intellectual property safety.

Cybersilience tailored a practical AI readiness program for our managers and employees. The hands-on modules helped staff understand safe prompt crafting, acceptable use policies, and workflow automation risks.

The training empowered our workforce to boost day-to-day productivity while safeguarding our corporate data assets.

DIGITAL RESILIENCE

Chief Information Security Officer

Enterprise Financial Services Firm | Digital Resilience

Our board required a comprehensive, non-jargon evaluation of our technology risk posture and operational resilience across multiple cloud banking platforms.

Cybersilience facilitated a realistic scenario-based incident simulation and third-party risk review that engaged our executive leadership and technical response teams. The exercise highlighted critical interdependencies and gave us immediate clarity on our crisis readiness.

Their advisory support delivered actionable governance improvements that directly strengthened our organization’s resilience.

DIGITAL RESILIENCE

Adeola Bakare

Head of Operational & Technology Risk | Digital Resilience

Managing third-party vendor risks and technology governance across evolving regulatory environments requires rigorous, practical methodology rather than generic checklists.

Cybersilience provided targeted digital resilience advisory that aligned our risk registers, incident escalation playbooks, and vendor assessment criteria with international standards.

Their guidance substantially increased our team’s operational readiness and incident response velocity during unexpected system disruptions.
